    পছন্দ অপছ্ন্দ সম্পর্কিত অভিব্যক্তিগুলো খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। কারণ যে কোন আলাপে সারাক্ষণই আমাদের প্রায় পছন্দ অপছন্দের বিষয়গুলো শেয়ার করতে হয় ।Spoken English ‍চর্চার প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে বিষয়টি আরো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, তখন শুরুতেই অপর জনকে বোঝাতে চেষ্টা করি আমরা যে আমি এই পছন্দ করি, ওটা করি না ইত্যাদি। নিচের বাক্যগুলো পছন্দ বা ইতিবাচকতা বোঝাতে ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে।

1.  I love music.

অপছন্দ প্রকাশের জন্য আমরা নিচের বাক্যগুলো ব্যবহার করতে পারি।

1.  Watching cricket for a long time isn’t my cup of tea.

2.  I’m not into radio drama.

3.  I can’t stand with her husband.  Reading book isn’t my thing. (This phrase expresses strong dislike)

4.  He is not keen on studying these days.

5.  It’s not bad.

6.  It’s not bad at all.

7.  Watching cricket isn’t my thing.

8.  It derives me crazy when I see someone lying in front of me.

9.  She really dislikes his behaviour.
